One service · $300 / month
We don't just help students catch up. We help them plan ahead.
Northstar Student Partners checks in with a student twice a day — once to plan the day, once to review it and set up what's next — so deadlines stay visible and the work starts before it's urgent.
Month to month. No contract. Not tutoring, therapy, counseling or motivational coaching.

What we actually do
Most students don't need more content explained to them. They need someone who shows up every day, looks at what's coming with them, and holds the plan steady until it becomes their own.
We work on the part nobody assigns: deciding what happens when, starting before it's urgent, and asking for help while it still helps.
The daily rhythm
Daily 30-minute student check-ins
Two check-ins each school day, about 30 minutes in total, by voice or video — whichever the student prefers.
Morning — Plan & Prepare
A short call at the start of the day: what's happening today, what needs to be ready, and what to do first. The day starts with a plan instead of a scramble.
Afternoon / Evening — Review & Reset
We close the day: what got done, what moved, and what tomorrow now needs. Work that's coming gets started early, while there's still room.
How it works
Three steps, then a rhythm
- 01
A short conversation
A free call with a parent, the student, or both. We explain how the daily rhythm works and you decide whether it's the right kind of help.
- 02
The first few days
We gather everything on the student's plate, get it into one place, and set the check-in times that fit the real school day.
- 03
The daily rhythm
Morning plan, evening review, adjust, repeat. Each day the plan gets more accurate and the student owns a little more of it.
What's included
One plan. Everything in it.
No tiers, add-ons or session packs. What you're paying for is ongoing structure and accountability every school day — not 30 minutes of calls.

Two daily check-ins, about 30 minutes total
One in the morning, one in the afternoon or evening, every school day. By voice or video — whichever the student is more likely to actually pick up.
A shared plan, kept current
One simple place the student and family can both see: what's coming, what's committed, and what happens on which day.
Planning ahead, not chasing what's late
We look at the week and month in front of the student and start long work early. This isn't a reminder service for overdue assignments.
Messaging between check-ins
A place to ask 'what do I do first?' when the plan wobbles, without waiting for the next call.
Systems that outlast us
Calendars, reminders, filing, a start-of-work routine. The goal is a student who eventually runs the plan themselves.
A monthly note to the family
A plain summary of what we worked on, what's improving, and what we're watching. No surprises, no jargon.
Clear boundaries
What this is not
Being precise about this protects your money and your student's time.
Not tutoring
We don't teach subject content or work through problem sets. If a subject gap is the real issue, we'll say so and suggest a tutor for it.
Not therapy or counseling
We are not clinicians. We don't diagnose or treat anything, and we don't work on mental health, mood or family conflict. When something belongs with a licensed professional, we say that plainly.
Not motivational coaching
No motivational frameworks or vague advice. The work is concrete and practical: what is due, what happens today, what needs attention, and what comes next.
Not a college admissions consultancy
We don't write, edit or strategize applications, and we make no claims about admissions outcomes.
Fit
Is this the right help right now?
Families usually come to us when
- The work gets done, but always at the last possible hour
- A capable student whose results don't match their effort
- Deadlines and materials live in five different places, or nowhere
- The nightly conversation about homework has gone sour
- A student starting a harder year, or their first year away from home
We'll point you elsewhere when
- The need is subject instruction or exam content
- The pressing issue is mental health, safety or crisis
- The student is unwilling to talk, and nobody expects that to change
- You're looking for guaranteed grade or admissions outcomes
If we're not the answer, we'll tell you on the first call.
